We have the internet, Whatsapp, the telephone, the radio. In previous world crises of this magnitude, the world was more divided. Now, there is no excuse for not being able to reach the lost. Search your heart: Are you lost? Have you forgotten Jesus? If you return to Him and he will help you. If you know others who have lost their way, reach out to them in gentleness, patient, passion and ardent humility.
The great pastor Rick Warren stated that :
“Immersion without Expression causes depression” The excess of revelation in a person without its expression to others causes depression. Joy comes in service, and the expression of our love to others, including the wisdom God has taught us. Ask God, what has He taught you that you need to share? What word does He want you to impart? How have you been shaped to answer the call of Christ in this very crisis? How are you uniquely equipped to reach the lost and express his love? Life is not a solo enterprise but a relationship vessel that saves the lost from going to hell. There is a reward. My greatest encounters with God have not come mainly from the depth of my revelation, but all the more from the depth of my service to others. God honours service, and many people are looking for Him. The lost are so lost they do not even know that they are lost. You have to point it out to them. Your life must be a shining example of this love.
The teachings in G.Riot are practical examples of God’s love. They are meant to be applied in your life and that of others. They are meant to make you a teacher well equipped and love enriched. The purpose of this site is not to preach for the sake of preaching. Instead, it is a strategic move by God to share what you will need in this season and beyond. Do not dismiss the simplicity of this message to deny its powerful impact. The great mustard tree comes from the most humble seed. This means that we must use the simple word effectively. Use the word given and sow it in your life and service. As you do, the mustard of life will be your existence, and you will move mountains. These teachings are all the more relevant in a world that is suffering from social distancing but has already distanced itself from God. These teachings give us the tools to reconnect with God and each other. In this dark world, the teachings of Christ are our light. As you practise them, you too will become the light in the darkness. Don’t miss your ship, or you will miss ever reaching the shore beyond this sea of darkness.
Let us be patient and serve, and as we heed the call of Christ to spread his love, remember that this crisis is more opportunity, and from the pain of this devastation, and for many will come the beginning of the
Jesus destiny.
